Abstract:
This paper provides the
reader with two sets of resources for working with vulnerable and orphaned
children. Both categories are set up in the form of an annotated bibliography so
the reader has direct access to any of the sources discussed. The first set of
resources is for anyone who is doing general work with vulnerable and orphaned
children. This category offers valuable insight that can be taken from the
resource and applied into the context in which the reader is working. The
second category is geared specifically towards those working with orphaned and
vulnerable children as a result of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. These resources offer
illustrations and frameworks of what has already been done around the world
that the reader can implement or take pieces away to implement in their own
programs.
